Ágnes Belencsák graduated from the Master of Public Health programme at ScHARR in January 2014 with a distinction. Ágnes is now working as a Screening and Immunisation Coordinator for Public Health England, NHS England Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Area Team. Ágnes is responsible for Antenatal and Newborn Screening Programmes including newborn blood spot, sickle cell and thalassaemia, foetal anomalies, newborn hearing and physical examination and infectious diseases screening in pregnancy.

The title of Ágnes' MPH dissertation project was '' Promoting the introduction of 20 miles per hour speed limit areas in Sheffield: Capturing local residents' perception of the 'Playing Out Event' initiative and its potential benefits on children's health". The project involved a placement with Sheffield City Council.

The main findings from Agnes' project were that participants of the study widely accepted and supported the Playing Out Events initiative. People agreed that playing out could be beneficial for children’s health. They thought that 20 mph has a positive effect on local communities’ life. Overall, rethinking the function of streets enables communities to create a more liveable environment for residents and recover public space for children to play.
